It takes time for my images to develop. I go from one project, one expedition to another. Photos often sit on the hard drive. It's great to come back to them. To return to the experiences and witness thier documentation anew.
These images feature Torrey Piatt who I recruited to come with me on the first SUP-supported descent of the Upper and Middle Owyhee River in the early spring of 2016.
It was a unique and taxing journey through 150 miles of remote desert canyon. Wind, cold, damaged gear.... It is great now to revisit those experiences and be thankful for our ability to endure. This is what adventure is about.
