Paddle boarding is a wonderful vehicle for exploring new areas. Lakes and rivers can be private destinations if you are willing to work a little to visit them.
Over summer weekends, Bend my home and Oregon's favorite outdoor city is hit hard with out of towners. To avoid the crowds I disappear into those areas that are a little further off the radar. In these video clips shot over the most recent Memorial Day weekend, you will get a glimpse of a few of those areas. But don't expect me to share some key logistical details unless you want to come paddle with me. Hala!
