    Alaska SUP Touring

When I was a sea kayak guide I lworked in Alaska. The Inside Passage and Kenai Peninsula in particular were home to me. Haines and Juneau were special places for me. Though I never did kayak between the two towns, I had always intended to.

Since stand up paddle boarding, I have had no reason to sit back down in a kayak. I haven retraced many of the places I kayaked, including Baja and a number of western states rivers. Paddle boarding is my passion.

This last September, I returned to AK to paddle the Inside Passage. It was a great homecoming of sorts.
